("Nebras") has gifted hundred boxes of sweets to Dreama Orphans Care Center and Shafallah Centre for Children with Special Needs as well as several schools. The goodie bags filled with delicious candies and nuts delighted children, who every year enjoy this centuries-old Qatari tradition with family and friends on the 15th of Ramadan. Kids associate Ramadan with the "Garangao", which is a yearly festivity held mid of the holy month. The "Garangao" festivity is at the heart of Nebras Power's efforts to rejoice the national heritage and preserve the authentic Qatari traditions in a unique family atmosphere. This celebration includes a wide range of traditional activities that engage both kids and their parents. The "Garangao" festivity embeds a variety of virtues and values such as generosity and solidarity; it educates kids about the importance of these virtues in their heritage. During this celebration, kids wear enchanting traditional costumes and chant inherited "Garangao" songs while collecting confectionaries from their parents and neighbors in special goodie bags.
